Louisiana Mu Alpha Theta
Louisiana Mu Alpha Theta (LaMAΘ) is the state chapter of the national Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society. LaMAΘ runs a two-day math tournament for high school students each spring, with tests on subjects from geometry to calculus to the history of math. The competition is loosely structured on the national Mu Alpha Theta convention, and regularly attracts several hundred participants.
